Hey Darren. Once again I have

Hey Darren. Once again I have to say your latest vid on "consistency in motion" was superb, but would have to go a step further and say I thought it was your best. For one, you've got the new kit on there which sounds amazing. And two, you took some great voicemails with great questions. And lastly, and to me, most importantly, you addressed the role of the Holy Spirit in your life. To me, that speaks volumes. I'm a born again Christian and fully rely on the Holy Spirit in my life and music skills(if I have any. lol). Without the Holy Spirit, I wouldn't be where I am today in my music ministry. Because of how and what God has allowed me to learn over the years, I've been able to witness to and instruct some great people on YouTube and Myspace just through making videos. So, with that said, keep up the good work and God bless

Great Podcast

Darren,

Great podcast as usual. We tried everything on the acoustic kit that I play and finally had to break down and go to an electronic kit (Roland TD6-SXT with the mesh heads). We have an older church with a choir loft and there is not a whole lot of stage space so my acoustic kit overwhelmed the other singers. I am still trying to get used to the electronic kit but have come to understand that the acoustic was taking away from the worship and that is the last thing I want to do. The congregation is much happier with the electronic kit and worship flows better now.

Keep up the great work. (No pressure or anything :) ).

Re: Great Podcast

Hey Jim: I'm glad you found a solution for your church. I have a new respect for electronic drums after recently playing some praise tunes with a guy who has a Roland TD-6SW. I played electric guitar and another guy played bass. It was tight. The drummer knew what he was doing and kept it real solid. I think many times my problem with electric drums in the past has been that often they are too low in the mix, kind of like some distant sound among all the other instruments. With the three piece, I really made the drums prominent in the mix and they sounded great. All the best to you and your group! - Darren
